osdin lighting is a family lighting shop in kepong. we are david and oscar, a father and a son, two generations who share the same belief, treat people straight and help them get it right, but bring different eyes to it. the result: expert advice, a designer's eye, and lighting that actually works in your space.

the founder

david opened osdin in 2010 and still picks the stock himself. over 40 years in electronics and lighting means he can tell you why a fitting will fail before you buy it, the driver, the heat, the wiring, the mechanical side most shops never mention. that instinct is what keeps people coming back. the newly renovated taman ehsan showroom is the next step up, a bigger, properly lit space to show what good lighting actually looks like.

the designer

oscar is david's son and the design side of the shop, trained as an interior designer with a diploma in interior design and a degree in interior architecture. he reads a room the way a designer does, the layout, the layers of light, how it feels at night, what you'll actually use versus what only looks good on a shelf. he likes the hard ones, the awkward ceiling, the tight budget, the brief nobody else could solve. he's also the one bringing osdin up to date, so getting real advice is only a message away.
