Bypass vs Non-bypass, which one do you need?
Non-bypass (with ballast)
Works with your existing fluorescent ballast. Direct swap, remove old tube, put in LED tube. Safe with Philips and OSRAM fixtures. Won't light in a bypass-wired fixture but won't trip.
Bypass (direct mains)
Wires straight to L+N, no ballast needed. Requires rewiring the fixture. ⚠️ Do NOT put a bypass tube in a non-bypass Philips/OSRAM fixture, it will short circuit.
